"Yabe Yamato Stone" is a natural stone sourced from Yamato Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, used in local daily life for over 1,400 years—from historical stone bridges in Kumamoto to ancient tumulus sarcophagi.
Crafted without artificial processing, it retains the raw, split-face texture (ware-hada) of fractured stone, allowing you to feel the volcanic power and rugged natural beauty of its form.
When you drip a few drops of essential oil onto the porous surface, it gently absorbs the oil and diffuses a soft fragrance gradually over time. Beyond enjoying scents, it serves as an interior object with a striking, grounded presence.
Fragrance diffuses naturally without heat or electricity, making this an ideal item for those who care about interior design or seek a natural lifestyle. Enjoy a soothing, relaxing time wrapped in your favorite scents.
■ Product Features
Unique Natural Form: Because it retains the stone's raw, split-face texture, each piece varies in size and shape (selected at random by our store).
Package Contents: Delivered as a set of approximately 10 stones, each around 5 cm in size.
Supporting Satoyama Conservation: To connect traditional rural landscapes (satoyama) to the future, 1% of product sales will be donated to satoyama conservation efforts and Kumamoto earthquake recovery support.
